No shortcuts here, this is the offshore workhorse. Full 3-layer waterproof shell, reinforced where you’re going to grind holes (knees, seat, hems), and cut high enough to keep water out when it’s rolling across the deck. Doesn’t bunch, doesn’t sag, and you can still move fast when you need to.

Plenty of pocket space that drains properly instead of turning into buckets, tough zips that don’t corrode, and shoulder straps that actually stay put. Unlined so it dries quick, which makes a difference when you’re living in it day after day.
