Wazza's Thoughts

Good all-rounder. Light enough for a day sail, tough enough for when the breeze pipes up and the spray’s flying. Not as heavy as offshore kit, which makes it a jacket you’ll actually want to wear instead of stuffing in a bag “just in case.”

I’ve seen plenty of these mid-weight shells either leak at the zips or boil you alive. This one doesn’t. You can throw it on over a tee, trim and tack all afternoon, then still walk into town without feeling like you’re wrapped in sailcloth.

Best for women who want one jacket that works from inshore races to coastal weekends, without lugging full offshore gear around.
