This is the jacket you grab when the trip’s longer than a day sail and you know you’re going to cop proper weather. Offshore proof, but not so heavy it feels like punishment to wear. Keeps the water out, breathes enough that you’re not swimming in sweat, and it’s tough where it needs to be.

I’ve spent enough nights on passage with jackets that leak at the zips or choke you when you’re grinding, this one doesn’t. You can layer under it, move around the cockpit without restriction, and trust it’ll hold up when the spray’s coming sideways.
